Privacy Policy

We keep the names and addresses of our customers for seven years in order to fulfil our statutory obligations to HM Revenue & Customs therefore we will hold your personal information on paper copies of our invoices for 7 years following your most recent purchase from us. We will also hold this information in our customer database, unless you ask us to remove it. We will not email or write to any customer who has not bought from us or communicated with us within the last three years.

Unless required to by law (for example by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime), Life Of John will ONLY share your personal data with data controllers who have contracts in place with us which require them to keep your data secure, not use it for direct marketing and not share it with any other party. These data controllers are individuals or organisations who are contracted to: undertake work on our customer database; undertake work on our website; support our I.T infrastructure; and provide legal advice or services in cases of contractual dispute.

You have the right to:

Receive a copy of the data that we hold about you
Ask us to correct the information that we hold about you
Ask us to delete your personal information from our electronic records (customer database)
Lodge a complaint about our handling of your personal information with the Information Commissioners Office
